Medicals and Earthquakes...

So we had our medicals done for our year abroad...having a chest x-ray done was pretty cool. Set me back over £100 though, the Japan trip is adding up!

Also, the 11th March 9.0 magnitude earthquake and following tsunami in the Tōhoku region has shaken plans up a bit! As far as I know we're still going on the Year Abroad, but I think they've brought all the students who were out there back for the moment. The images of damage and lost lives on the news is shocking and heartbreaking, and I hope Japan can recover from this disaster quickly.

Only 6 months to go now! Despite worries about future aftershocks, I am looking forward to some mega winter sales shopping in Tokyo and amazing Japanese food, YAY.
